Travel is for the intrepid adventurers. The diehards who ascend the highest peaks and penetrate the deepest jungle. The people who learn the local language, history and customs; who strive to improve themselves.
Then there are the amateurs. Those who attempt the local language but inevitably repeat themselves in louder english; who scan the information boards with little or no historical knowledge; who wonder why people pay for a tour guide, when you can overhear them for free; who often find the local cuisine a bit sickening or tiresome, and the customs a bit silly.
This blog is for those who strive for adventure but really should have stayed at home, this blog is for the amateurs.
